Roger Pepper Adventure Camp

Roger Pepper Adventure Camp is a specialized residential camp in Crested Butte, CO, specifically designed for teens and young adults (ages 14-18) who are burn survivors. The program focuses on helping campers set and achieve personal goals through adaptive outdoor activities, providing a supportive environment where participants can feel encouraged, energized, and transformed.

The camp offers a wide range of adaptive seasonal activities led by highly-trained instructors. In the winter, campers participate in skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. Summer sessions feature paddleboarding, climbing, rafting, hiking, and mountain biking. Beyond physical activities, the camp emphasizes social connection through team-building exercises, art projects, and downtime at the lodge, all designed to foster lasting friendships among peers with similar lived experiences.

Led by professionals including Richard Paylor, CTRCT, the camp provides expert guidance for all skill levels. Sessions are one week in length with costs up to $100 per week.
