Located on 22 wooded acres in Chesterfield County, this ACA-accredited camp provides adaptive activities including horseback riding, swimming, fishing, hiking, and arts and crafts.
The facility features a calming sensory room, wheelchair-accessible trails via UTV, an ADA-compliant pool lift, accessible playgrounds, and electric entrance doors. Specialized equipment includes patient lifts and electric hospital beds. To ensure safety, the camp maintains a low staff-to-camper ratio with nursing staff available for medical services, medication management, and assistance with meals, personal hygiene, and toileting.
Sessions run June through August, offering two weeks of programming for children and eight weeks for adults, with both day camp and overnight residential options. The dining hall accommodates dietary restrictions, and the diverse staff includes counselors many of whom are trained in disability-related fields, fostering an inclusive community.
