Timbertop Camp for Youth with Learning Disabilities

Timbertop Camp is an overnight summer camp specifically designed for boys and girls who have been identified by their school districts as needing extra support for special learning needs. The camp is tailored for youth with various diagnoses, including ADHD, ADD, dyslexia, OHI, LD, and SLD, as well as students receiving services such as Reading Support, Title 1, or Leveled Learning Intervention (LLI).

The camp program uniquely combines traditional summer camp activities with structured daily settings that include extra reading practice and specialized group activities focused on navigating learning differences. This approach helps campers develop self-confidence, build meaningful peer relationships, and learn new skills within a safe, small-group environment led by a community of caring adults.

Operating as a 501(c)3 non-profit, Timbertop has a long history of service dating back to 1967. The camp focuses on the holistic development of the spirit, mind, and body, providing a supportive space where youth and teens can explore the environment and grow their self-esteem through specialized social and academic reinforcement.
