Denise Taylor, MS

Denise Taylor, MS, is a highly experienced speech-language pathologist in Columbia, MD, specializing in support for children with diverse communication needs. With 20 years of experience, including work with Kennedy Krieger Schools and Johns Hopkins University, she provides expert evaluation and treatment for conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Apraxia, and various speech, language, and learning disorders. Her clinical focus includes articulation, social skills, and functional communication.

Mrs. Taylor utilizes a variety of evidence-based techniques and specialized training to help students meet their unique communication goals. Her expertise includes PROMPT, PECS, Floortime, Hanen, Expanding Expression Toolkit (EET), and Social Thinking. She works collaboratively with both educators and families to implement effective strategies that enhance communication and social skills, particularly for students with severe disabilities.
