Laura Hoover, SLP

Laura Hoover, M.S., CCC-SLP, is an ASHA-certified and Maryland state-licensed speech-language pathologist serving children from birth through adolescence in Ellicott City, MD. With over ten years of experience in pediatric private practice, she specializes in helping children find their voice and become effective communicators. Her clinical expertise includes the evaluation and treatment of autism, language delays, apraxia, fluency disorders, and articulation disorders.

As a Beckman Oral Motor Certified specialist, Laura provides targeted therapeutic services for a variety of speech and language problems, including speech impediments and delayed speech. Her practice focuses on personalized care to address the unique communication needs of each child, utilizing her advanced training from Northwestern University and Florida State University to support developmental milestones.

Please note that Laura Hoover is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance; all visits are self-pay. Self-pay rates include $200 for the initial one-hour evaluation and visit, and $125 for subsequent one-hour treatment sessions. She is currently accepting new patients at her Ellicott City location.
