Maura Watts

Maura Watts is a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in Mesa, AZ, specializing in serving children from birth to 3 years of age. With extensive training in DIR/Floortime, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, and the Hodson (Cycles) Approach, she provides expert care for a wide range of developmental needs, including Autism, Gestalt Language Processing, and delayed speech. Her clinical focus is centered on helping young children overcome communication challenges through evidence-based interventions.

Her practice focuses on routine-based intervention and specialized therapies for conditions such as motor speech disorders, dysarthria, apraxia, fluency disorders (stuttering), and orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMD). Maura also provides executive function therapy and support for cognitive issues. A cornerstone of her approach is parent coaching; she believes parents are a child's greatest advocates and integrates coaching into every treatment session to empower families.

Maura is a certified member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from Washington State University.
