Melanie Yovino, MA CCC-SLP, is an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist in Shirley, NY, specializing in communication and feeding needs. Holding a Master's degree from Hofstra University, she is trained in the PROMPT approach and possesses expertise in treating motor planning disorders like apraxia, as well as expressive and receptive language disorders.

Serving pediatric to geriatric populations, her practice focuses on special needs support, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and developmental delays. She implements Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) tools such as PECS, Proloquo2go, and Touch Chat. Services include feeding therapy for picky eating and orofacial myofunctional disorders, plus treatment for dysphagia, stuttering, and motor speech disorders like dysarthria.
